Electricity

Electricity is charged as extra by meter per unit used.

Cancellation Policy

In the unfortunate circumstances that a booking needs to be cancelled, it will be subject to the following charges:

Less than 7 days notice = full payment due.
7-14 days = 50% of full payment or deposit whichever is greater.
14 days or more = loss of deposit.

Terms

Arrival and Departure times. The standard arrival time is between 2pm and 7pm, and departure by 12 noon. We are happy where possible to accommodate early arrivals and late departures BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT so that we can confirm the pitch will be ready for you. *Please note we try to keep 1pm – 2pm clear for our lunchtime.

Parking is available in the Visitors Car Park.
Only ONE vehicle per unit allowed on site at any one time.
Spacing between pitches is set at 6 metres, an absolute minimum clear spacing of 3 metres must be maintained.
Pup tents OR Gazebos by prior arrangement only. £6 per night.
Please keep all noise to a minimum especially between 10pm and 8am.
Your family and friends are welcome to visit you whilst on site but they must report to Reception on arrival.
ALL visitor must park in the ‘Visitors Car Park’ and display a Visitors Parking Permit.
Visitors staying overnight are charged the currently nightly rate.
Dogs are welcome at River View, but please keep them under control and on a 2 metre maximum length lead for the sake of others. Please clean up after your dog and place in the bins provided, NOT in the bins in the Shower Block.
Dogs must NOT be left unattended for long periods, especially in hot weather and are NOT allowed in the Toilet/Shower block, except guide dogs.
All waste is sent to a recycling plant apart from glass which must be put in the glass bins provided
BBQs are permitted but please ensure you take sensible precautions and DO NOT put disposable BBQs or hot pans on the grass. Please do not take BBQs into your tent, awning, caravan or motorhome, Please be aware that Carbon Monoxide can KILL.
We do not allow open fires or any kind including Chinese Lanterns.
Please do not climb on the various banks around the site as this will damage them and slowly erode them away.
Please do not throw anything into the river or damage the riverbank in any way.
The river is beautiful but can be dangerous – please keep a careful eye on your children, as we cannot accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur whilst on site.
In line with our environment policy we request that you minimise the use of electric heaters in awnings.
The site has a wide selection of wild flowers, please do not damage, dig up or pick them.
Respect other people’s privacy.
Leave your pitch and all facilities clean and tidy as you would wish to find them.
Parents are responsible for supervision of their children and behaviour.

Riverview is a quiet family site, anyone demonstrating anti-social behaviour or is abusive or threatening in anyway will be asked to leave site with no recompense.
