Pembrey country park is a mixture of woodland, activity area and wonderful beach that is properly known as Cefn Sidan. The beach is more than 5 miles of sand which means it is never crowded. After a spell on the beach you can visit the ski slope and Toboggan run or go for a walk or cycle in the woods.

Popular resort beach with fine sand and safe bathing. Views over Carmarthen Bay to Tenby and Gower. Limestone cliffs, caves and rock pools to the west. Facilities locally available at Pendine Village.

Llyn Brianne reservoir is a stunning location north of Rhandirmwyn and Llandovery. Although 30 miles from River View Touring Park the area is well worth a visit.

The garden is both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation, and features the world’s largest single-span glasshouse measuring 110 m (360 ft) long by 60 m (200 ft) wid


River View is 20 miles from the Brechfa Forest which offers three stunning trails.

The Brecon Beacons contains the infamous Gap route and the Black Mountains killer loop. Other trails in South Wales include Cwm Rhaeadr, Afan Forest Park, Mynydd Mallaen and Nant yr arian.


Cwmcerrig Farm shop is a great place to buy excellent quality food when you stay at River View.

The local markets and shops provide some wonderful choices for the discerning shopper.Swansea market provides an opportunity to buy fresh fish or the specialty Lava Bread. Local butchers sell salt marsh Lamb and meat from the world renown Welsh Black cattle. Carmarthen market has a wide selection of Local Cheese and Carmarthen Ham which is like Parma Ham but better.
