River Meadow
River View consists of three individual touring areas all of which are south facing:

River Meadow
Approx. 2 acres, comprising of 27 pitches. This meadow has the River Gwili flowing along two sides of its boundary and is mainly for adults. It is also the most suitable for the physically impaired.
Oakwoods Meadow
Approx. 2.5 acres of gentle slope comprising of 22 pitches and has boundaries of woodland and tree banks consisting of native trees and some wildflowers. There are also views of surrounding hillsides. Although we do not have play equipment, there is large area for recreation in the centre of the field, making it ideal for families.
Gorse Meadow
Approx 0.75 acres of level ground and has 12 pitches, 6 of which are all weather. New for 2010, 4 pitches are now all weather and fully serviced. This is the smaller of the fields and has gorse bushes on one side and an ancient native tree bank on a second side.

Facilities

River View Touring Park offers the following facilities for caravans, motor-homes, trailer-tents or tents:
  • The modern award winning toilet/shower block with underfloor heating and two additional rooms suitable for families and physically impaired has been awarded 5 star grading in the ‘Loo of the Year’ awards 2007, 2008 and 2009 plus 'Best Baby-changing Facilities in Wales' 2008.
  • Free hot water for showers and washing up.
  • Well spaced pitches.
  • All pitches have electric hook up.
  • 39 all weather pitches.
  • 9 serviced pitches - 8 beng all weather pitches. All serviced pitches have cold water tap, grey waste drain and electric hook-up.
  • Laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • Shop selling essential supplies and some Welsh produce.
  • Visitor parking.
  • Fishing in the river for brown trout and sewin.
  • Ideal base for visiting attractions in and around Carmarthenshire and the Gower.
  • 2 dog walking areas.

River View Touring Park is ideally situated for exploring many of the lovely beaches of South Wales, The Black Mountain, Brecon Beacons, and Gardens of Wales, including the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from the ferry ports this make River View Touring Park an ideal stop over for ferries to and from Ireland.
