Site Conditions
Keith & Kath wish to extend a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors who are staying on our quiet family run site. So everyone can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, we would appreciate your co-operation on the following items.Cancellation Policy
In the unfortunate circumstances that a booking needs to be cancelled, it will be subject to the following charges:
- Less than 7 days notice - full payment due,
- 7-14 days - 50% of full payment or deposit whichever is greater,
- 14 days or more - loss of deposit.
Arrival and Departure Times
Our standard arrival time is between 2pm and 7pm and departures are by 12 noon. We are happy where possible to accommodate early arrivals and late departures BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT so that we can confirm the pitch will be ready for you.Please note we try to keep 1-2 pm clear for our lunch. Other Items
- Gates will be locked between 10.00 pm & 8.30 am Sunday to Thursday inclusive and 10.30pm to 8.30 am Friday & Saturday. Parking is available in Visitors Car Park.
- Only ONE vehicle per unit allowed on site at any one time.
- BBQs are permitted but please ensure you take sensible precautions and DO NOT put disposable BBQs on the grass.
- Spacing between pitches is set at 6m, an absolute minimum clear spacing of 3m must be maintained.
- Your family or friends are welcome to visit you whilst on site but they must report to Reception on arrival. We do not make a charge for up to 2 x 1day visitors. More than 2 will be subject to a £2 charge.
- ALL visitors must park in the ‘Visitors Car Park’ and display a Visitors Parking Permit.
- Visitors staying overnight are charged the currently nightly rate.
- Dogs are very welcome at River View, but please keep them under control and on a lead for the sake of others. Please remove all dog mess from the site or dog walking area and place in the bins provided.
- Please do not climb on the various banks around the site as this will damage them and slowly erode them away.
- Please do not throw anything into the river or damage the riverbank in any way.
- The River is beautiful but can be dangerous – please keep a careful eye on your children, as we cannot accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur whilst on our premises.
- Help to be environmentally friendly and recycle your glass, paper and tins by placing it in the large bins provided at the end of the toilet block.
- Please keep all noise to a minimum especially after 10.00 pm.
- In line with our environment policy we request that you minimise the use of electric heaters in awnings.
- The site has a wide selection of wild flowers, please do not damage, dig up or pick them.
- Respect other peoples privacy.
- Leave your pitch and all facilities clean & tidy as you would wish to find them.
